Boothroyd: Doyle Deserved His Goal
City boss on Doyle goal Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd felt that Michael Doyle deserved his goal this afternoon against Burnley.Doyle's 56th minute 25 yard strike was enough to divide the teams at the Ricoh Arena and prompted the City boss to say to Sky Blue Player: "Michael's come in, he's done very well and at times he's been our best player."He's encouraged to shoot and he's got his head down and worked hard even though he had not been starting but he has come in for Sammy Clingan and done very well and he deserved his goal."
