City will ave to cope with the current squad Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has once again warned the City supporters not to expect any new faces at The Ricoh as he doesn't expect to be making any emergency loan signings. Prior to the opening of the January transfer window, Boothroyd has said he was not over bothered about doing any permanent deals during the mid season transfer market, but that he did have the option of making use of the emergency transfer period and would use it if he could. Boothroyd doesn't have any money to spend on  new players and yesterday he reiterated that he does not expect to be bringing in new faces, despite previously expressing the hope that he would be able to strengthen the squad before the end of the season. However Boothroyd is now saying that he will have to manage with the squad he has right now.  He said, “I am not going to make any promises about bringing players in but where we are at this moment in time, we do get on with what we have got.”
