Former Coventry City winger Chris Birchall scored as Port Vale booked their place in the second round of the FA Cup with a 4-0 win at Shortwood United.
The Southern League South & Western division side were no match for Micky Adams side and a Birchall tap in after thirty minutes to go along side a brace for Jennison Myrie-Williams and one for Chris Lines in stoppage time, booked Port Vale's place in Round Two.
