The Republic of Ireland international's representatives have been in negotiations with the Sky Blues for some time as the two parties look to find middle ground regarding the terms being put forward by both sides.[LNB]Best's current contract expires at the end of the season and manager Chris Coleman is looking to resolve the situation as soon as possible.[LNB]"It's at a standstill at the minute," Best said. "Obviously with my injury it was just a case of getting me fit again but I'm going to be talking to my agent, the gaffer and the chairman and we can get things on the move again now I'm back playing.[LNB]"I'm definitely keen to stay here long-term, I'm happy. I'm not too far from home and I'm enjoying playing here so there's no reason (why I wouldn't be)."[LNB]There has been plenty of speculation of late linking Best with a move away from the Ricoh Arena and asked whether it has been unsettling, he replied: "No, not really. I think that's just a lot of talk. I haven't heard anything and I'm just playing and discussing a contract at the minute."[LNB][LNB]
