Former Coventry City forward Leon Best has been forced to withdraw from the Republic Of Ireland squad to face Estonia in Dublin on Tuesday.
Best now at Newcastle United, had missed the 4-0 win in Tallinn on Firday night, because his partner was giving birth to their child but reported to the squad in Dublin yesterday.
He was assessed by Irish national team medical staff but his groin and toe injuries meant that instead of being involved in a game which should be a formality, Best has returned to St James Park for treatment.
