Bell makes fitness vow

The 25-year-old may not have shown any signs of the niggling problem on Saturday when he lobbed Doncaster keeper Neil Sullivan from 40 yards to give City a 1-0 home win, but he admits that it has hampered his progress since he moved to the Ricoh Arena in January. "I have had a bit of a setback with my right ankle this year," Bell told the Coventry Telegraph. "I have got some floating bone and I have torn the ligaments on the bone a bit, so it is a little bit of a mess in there and needs flushing out really. "I will get that sorted in the summer, get in a good pre-season and come back stronger and fitter than ever next year."
