Coventry City Academy manager Greg Rioch has said that it would be good to get a winger in the first team
“We’ve done all right for full-backs, bearing in mind that’s where I played,” Rioch said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, ragarding players who have progressed from the Academy into the first team.
“Over the years I’ve needed a centre-froward to get in and that’s why I was so pleased with Callum Wilson’s progress because I didn’t want to be seen as an Academy manager that just produces full-backs.
“The one area we’re looking at now is the wing positions because we have done midfielders, centre-backs and full-backs, so it would be nice to get a winger in the first team.”
