Adam Barton is looking forward to playing again in a central midfield role for Coventry City.
Barton has played in a couple of positions in his first team outings and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “Flecky and CT have done really well but it would be nice to have a go in there and I’m dying to get back in the centre.
“The manager did say to be aware to get my head on playing centre midfield if he decides to change things, and if he does that will be great for me. But another opportunity to play on the right would be great as well.
“It’s a bit foreign for me out there but the gaffer has told me exactly what he needs and I know what he wants, and it was a lot better on Saturday because we passed the ball a lot better.
“I played with Flecky a few times in pre-season and Billy a lot as well. But everyone knows exactly what they’re doing so I am sure it will be fine.”
