Defender devastated Coventry City defender Leon Barnett has the backing of 'City boss Chris Coleman. Barnett was sent off for two bookable offences against Scunthorpe at the weekend and will now have to serve a two match ban. Barnett received his marching orders for bringing down Scunthorpe's Hooper in the box. The resultant penalty, was brilliantly saved by the outstanding Westwood. Barnett had just returned from serving a one match ban for being sent off against Newcastle last month. Chris Coleman spoke about the on loan defender, saying, "I feel sorry for Leon who is devastated, but we’ll pick him up. He is going to have another ban, unfortunately, but there are a lot of important games left and he’ll have a part to play." “In the first half he and James McPake were very, very good. They were a bit slow to start the second when Gary Hooper got in twice when he shouldn’t have because he is a decent player who makes good runs.”
