Injury could be worse than feared Coventry City midfielder Carl Baker has had to postpone the scheduled scan on his ankle as it was too swollen yesterday to be successfully scanned. It is now hoped that  the scan will be done later today, but it all depends on whether the swelling on his ankle has gone down overnight. In view of the development, it is now feared that the injury could be worse than first thought. It is not broken, but he could be on the sidelines for a long time. Speaking to the CT, the Coventry City manager Andy Thorn said, “His ankle was worse yesterday with a lot of heavy swelling, so we have to wait for that to go down a bit before he can have it scanned. Hopefully that will be today and then we will know more.”
