Coventry born and bred referee Tom Reeves was honoured at the Birmingham County FA Awards last night.
Reeves, who is a regular on the line at Coventry City U18's matches, matches involving Coventry Sphinx, Coventry City Ladies and across Coventry and Warwickshire on a Saturday and Sunday, received the Young Referee Award.
The awards were held at St Georges Park in Burton on Trent and hosted by Jenny Wilkes, who has been involved with Wolves Women for many years and Tom received his award from former Walsgrave resident Andre Marriner, who refereed the FA Cup Final between Wigan Athletic and Manchester City.
