After a substitute appearance at Newcastle and a first start away against Crystal Palace, the on-loan Ipswich striker ran out in front of Sky Blues fans at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.[LNB]He immediately proved why boss Chris Coleman has brought him to the club, netting the opener in a 2-1 win over Scunthorpe that moved Coventry to within three points of the play-off places.[LNB]"It was a fantastic day and from my point of view it could not have been much better," Stead told City's official website after helping clinch a fourth win in five games.[LNB]"It's a huge three points for us after a great performance at Crystal Palace last week and while we are still trying to keep quiet about our play-off chances we know if we can keep winning games like we have been doing then anything is possible.[LNB]"I really enjoyed my first run out at the Ricoh Arena and although it took us 20 minutes to get settled, I thought we dominated the game after that."[LNB][LNB]
