Another Game For City's 87 Team

City former players in action Members of the Coventry City 1987 FA Cup winning team will by playing in a match at Leamington FC on Sunday May 8th. The match is for former Stockton boss Curly O'Callaghan who is well known on the local non-league circuit, who was diagnosed with  chronic lymphocytic cancer for which there is no cure, last February. The game kicks off at 3pm and tickets cost £3 for concessions and £5 for adults. A string of Coventry City’s FA Cup winners have already pledged to play, including Steve Ogrizovic, Trevor Peake, David Phillips, Dave Bennett, Cyrille Regis and Micky Gynn. They will be joined by other Sky Blues’ stars such as Craig Pead and David Burrows as they take on a Curly Select XI.
