Coventry City defender Richard Wood has broken his nose in the 2-2 draw at Swindon Town this afternoon.
Wood, took to the pitch looking like he had been in a boxing ring longer than Audley Harrison, after breaking his nose and then getting a smack in the face at York City and played exceedingly well for an hour before he was forced off after receiving a bang in the face, something which referee Lee Collins failed to take any action over.
City boss Mark Robins confirmed that Wood had broken his nose and told club journalist Keiren Crowley: “Richard Wood has also broken his nose again in a different place again – he looks more and more like Steve Bruce with every passing game!."
