Aidy takes point

Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd was satisfied with a point from the goalless draw at Hull. In an uninspiring first half full of unforced errors, Hull's Jimmy Bullard came closest to breaking the deadlock when his long-range strike came back off the woodwork. Both sides had good chances to find the net in an exciting second half but a mixture of wayward finishing and solid goalkeeping from both Matt Duke and Keiren Westwood meant it ended honours even. Boothroyd said: "I thought we had the better of the first half. We played really well and were the better team. "Hull were a Premier League club not long ago, and they have good players and a good manager. They also have a good home record, so we had to be resolute. It is also nice to get back to a clean sheet."
