Aidy looking forward to Cardiff test

Aidy Boothroyd is looking forward to testing his Coventry side against a Cardiff outfit he considers one of favourites to win the Championship this season. The Sky Blues have been rejuvenated under Boothroyd since his summer arrival and go into the Ricoh Arena clash seventh in the table, five places and five points behind the visitors who were denied by Blackpool in the Championship play-off final at Wembley in May. "They`re a team who have been up and around it for the last three of four years, got to cup finals, moved into a new stadium, had their problems off the pitch, they`ve got high-profile, high-quality players," said Coventry boss Boothroyd. "So it`s going to be tough but I`ve always enjoyed games against Cardiff and Dave Jones and I`m looking forward to pitting our wits against them on our turf. "It`s another one of those games that come thick and fast in the Championship where you`ve got a team that if you don`t play well they`ll beat you, and if you can play well then you can beat them. "So it is genuinely all about what happens on the day but I`m looking forward to it because I think Cardiff are one of the favourites for the title itself and if we can take anything off them then it will be a good result for us."
