According to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner this morning, Coventry City's Academy have been ousted from their Alan Higgs Centre home due to an unpaid bill of £14k.

The bill is understood to be £2k in rent and £12k for repair and maintence of equipment and although there has been no cash forthcoming from whichever company is running the Sky Blues, an email has been sent regarding some of the issues.

Chairman of the Alan Higgs Centre which is a seperate company to the Higgs Trust,  Peter Knatchbull-Hugessen told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “At long last they have made a reply. “They don’t answer the core issues between us. However, it’s a start and where we can start is with the money they can put up to repair the equipment that is in their care.

“We’ll get started talking to them and they can tell us what they are going to do about repairing the equipment. There’s £12,000 of work needed to be done on the equipment they’ve been using.

“Let them show good faith by paying what needs to be paid and then we can get on with it. If they are not prepared to pay what needs to be paid then it’s not going to go much further."
