Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that the 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury Town was not a bad result.

City were the better side in the first half, having taken the lead after three and a half minutes through Callum Wilson but Tom Bradshaw levelled two minutes into the second half.

Speaking about the draw, Steven Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph: “A draw at Shrewsbury is certainly not a bad result.

“We created a lot of chances, not just in the first half but towards the end of the game and that’s always encouraging. I was really pleased with the way the defence played after conceding the equaliser because Shrewsbury put us under quite a bit of pressure for ten or 15 minutes and we coped with that really well.

“We know that we had the chance to kill the game off – we’ll play worse than that and win by two or three goals – but our workrate was excellent for the full 90 minutes and I’m really proud of the all-round performance. As a group, they are giving me everything I could ask for at the moment.”
