Williams slams U's efforts

Colchester United manager Geraint Williams was less than impressed after seeing his side slump to a 2-1 FA Cup third round replay defeat at Barnet. The U's took an early lead at Underhill through Jamie Cureton, but were then over-run in the second half by their League Two opponents. Afterwards, Williams fumed: "It's only the second time this season we've been favourites - the other was a cup game with the MK Dons - and we've lost them both. "In the first half we looked in control, but they pressured us in the second half and we failed to deal with it. "I'm very disappointed as we've had some good days in the FA Cup in the last few years. "We've talked frankly about the second half and now we must prove that we've learnt from it and put it right in our next game."
