Ward wants ruthless Us
Colchester manager John Ward admits his side cannot afford to have any sympathy with crisis club Plymouth when they head to Home Park on Saturday.Argyle have endured a miserable week, having had 10 points deducted by the Football League before being on the end of a 4-0 hiding at Brighton on Tuesday night. The Us, by contrast, have picked up a win over Walsall and drew at Peterborough and Ward does not want anything to distract his players from their play-off push."I think at their last home game there were demonstrations and it is important that we divorce ourselves from any proceedings and get on with our football," he said."There may be distractions but we have to deal with the match."If there is a team with problems we have to take advantage of that, and sympathise afterwards."
