Ward wants Hendo stay

Colchester boss John Ward is confident of keeping Ian Henderson at the club.The striker has scored 10 goals for the Us this season, including both both strikes in Saturday's 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers.The 26-year-old Norwich youth academy product is close to signing a new deal.Ward told the Daily Gazette: "Ian has been pretty clinical in front of goal and he enjoys the role he's got."I'm hoping his contract is close to being signed; I want to keep Ian and he knows that."His two goals strengthen his case a little bit, which he'll be pleased about."
