Ward thinking about Martin deal

Colchester boss John Ward is weighing up whether to offer a contract to trialist Joe Martin.The former Tottenham and Blackpool defender played for the Us reserves this week as he attempts to earn a deal at the Community Stadium."Joe played on Tuesday and it gave us a chance to analyse his performance," said assistant manager Joe Dunne."He'll train with us again and the manager will speak to him in the near future as we look to make a decision on him soon."
