Ward: We need a win

Colchester manager John Ward admits his side need a victory under their belt to kickstart their League One season.The Us have been held to draws in their opening two fixtures, away at Exeter and at home to Sheffield Wednesday, and Ward has seen plenty of reasons to be optimistic about their chances this term.Ward, who takes his side to newly-promoted Rochdale on Saturday, said: "We're on the right track - we just need to get a win now."I think there are some great games coming up in this league and we're going to take part in quite a number of them."
