Walker voices U's worries

Colchester United's loan goalkeeper Jimmy Walker has admitted that his side need to get back on track quickly after two successive defeats.

A 2-0 reverse at Walsall followed a 1-0 home defeat by Tranmere Rovers, meaning that a nine-game unbeaten league run had come to a shuddering halt.

Walker told The Gazette: "It's a collective thing and during the run we had that was always so good, because we were together.

"In the last couple of games we've gone away from that and I can't put my finger on why.

"It shouldn't happen and we need to work on it in training and get back to being a solid unit again.

"We haven't looked as strong in the last couple of games defensively and we need to sort that out."
