Vernon seals Dons switch

Scott Vernon has completed his move to Aberdeen following his release by Colchester.The 26-year-old hit 12 goals in 57 appearances for the Us but struggled to hold down a regular first-team spot and was also loaned out to Gillingham, Northampton and Southend.Vernon has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at Pittodrie.
