Vernon reveals no contract talks

Colchester United striker Scott Vernon says he has not spoken to the U's about a new contract, despite only having two months left on his current one.The 26-year-old former Oldham and Blackpool man is currently on loan at Colchester's Essex rivals Southend, for whom he has scored four in 15 games.
