U's unlikely to poach new manager

Colchester United's search for a new manager is unlikely to include approaching those currently employed. The U's are looking to replace Paul Lambert who has quit to join League One rivals Norwich City. A number of names have been linked with the post, including Torquay's Paul Buckle and Paul Tisdale of Exeter. Colchester chief executive Steve Bradshaw told BBC Essex: "It would be hard for us to approach other clubs as we'd have to pay compensation." Managers currently out of work.... read more
