Colchester United boss Geraint Williams has made the former Charlton Athletic striker Kevin Lisbie his eighth summer signing.

The 28-year-old was released by the Addicks at the end of last term after spending more than a decade at The Valley.

He scored 16 goals in 62 League starts and 93 substitute appearances for the club.

Lisbie has also spent time on loan with Gillingham, Reading, QPR, Norwich City and Derby County in the last eight years.
