Okuonghae agrees U's switch

Colchester United have snapped up defender Magnus Okuonghae from Dagenham & Redbridge.

Okuonghae, 23, recently admitted he was unsettled at the League Two club and was considering moving away as he was out of contract and had been linked with higher division sides.

"It's all still up in the air at the moment," he had told the Ilford Recorder.

"I haven't signed anything and the gaffer's been away on holiday for a while, so I'm just going to wait and see what will happen."

Okuonghae is the fourth player after David Fox, Ashley Vincent and Lee Beevers to join the U's so far this summer.
