Essex derby pitch under scrutiny

The managers of Colchester and Southend have agreed the pitch at the Community Stadium is in poor condition ahead of Monday's derby.It has been badly cut up by snow and heavy rain over the past two months. Southend manager Steve Tilson said the pitch was in a "shocking" condition ahead of the League One encounter.
