Anthony Wordsworth scored twice as Colchester defeated a luckless Southend on an atrocious pitch at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.Skipper Adam Barrett tried to clear a weak Wordsworth strike but his foot stuck in the sand close to the goal and the ball dribbled over the line.
