Baldwin's injury fears allayed

Former Chelsea trainee Baldwin was stretchered off during the goalless draw at St Mary's on Saturday after a Saints player accidentally landed on his leg following a corner. The centre-half will be doubtful for Saturday's trip to Swindon but the U's are hopeful he will not face a lengthy spell on the sidelines. "Thankfully Pat's injury isn't as serious as it looked," said manager Adrian Boothroyd. "We will keep a close eye on him to see how the injury settles down and hopefully he won't be out for too long."
