The U's finished the season in 12th position but only managed seven victories from 23 games at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.[LNB]And manager Paul Lambert this week individually met up with his players including Yeates, who missed out on the chance to join Crystal Palace last summer due to a failed medical.[LNB]The midfielder told the East Anglian Daily Times: "Obviously what's said between the gaffer and the rest of us is private. But he had a little chat with each of us.[LNB]"He went over the performances during the season and I think that generally he was pleased with how things went. I've still got another year left on my contract so I'm still a Colchester player.[LNB]"We had a poor start to the season which left us playing catch-up but we'll be looking to do better next season. It was our home form that let us down."[LNB][LNB]
