Wignall urges Us confidence
Colchester`s former manager Steve Wignall has urged his high-flying former team to remain confident.
After an encouraging start, the U's have suffered a dip in performances of late.
"Colchester have some tough fixtures coming up but it's important that John [Ward] keeps the confidence of the players up," Wignall told the Daily Gazette.
"Football teams tend to go up and down, just like the weather.
"He has a squad of 22 or 23 players and they will all be needed over the next few weeks.
"John will have a game plan for the whole thing - not just the tactics on the pitch but also with regard to what he expects from his players."
