Ward unhappy with toothless attack

Colchester boss John Ward believed his side's poor finishing cost them dear in their 2-1 loss to Swindon. Thomas Dossevi gave the Robins the lead with a 20-yard blast that found the bottom right-hand corner of the net, however, the U's levelled through Ashley Vincent's powerful header. Charlie Austin wrapped up the win for Danny Wilson's men though when he squeezed the ball under Ben Williams in the Colchester goal for his seventh goal of the season. "I have one or two complaints with the game because I thought we had a couple of very good chances at the end of the game when we were chasing it," said Ward. "We certainly weren't as clinical as we have been in previous weeks but it's what you do over the 90 minutes. "I think the difference between the sides was the boy up front (Charlie Austin) that I talked about before the game and I think that (Jonathan) Douglas made a big difference for them coming back in to the side but that's life."
