Ward unhappy with point

Colchester manager John Ward admitted he had `mixed feelings' after seeing his side draw 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday. The Us took the lead in the 50th minute through Andy Bond but were pegged back through Neil Mellor's late strike and Ward was left to rue two dropped points. Ward said: "I've got mixed feelings. It was disappointing to concede a late goal but I was really pleased with the way my team played against one of the favourites to get back out of this division. "We're on the right track - we just need to get a win now. "We had a couple of good chances to make the lead a bit heavier and make sure that the one goal that Wednesday might have got did not count. "In a way it gives me great pleasure to see the Sheffield Wednesday fans celebrating a goal like that at our place but at the same time, I mustn't underestimate the level that we're at as well."
