Ward thinking about Martin deal
Colchester boss John Ward is weighing up whether to offer a contract to trialist Joe Martin.
The former Tottenham and Blackpool defender played for the Us reserves this week as he attempts to earn a deal at the Community Stadium.
"Joe played on Tuesday and it gave us a chance to analyse his performance," said assistant manager Joe Dunne.
"He'll train with us again and the manager will speak to him in the near future as we look to make a decision on him soon."
