Colchester manager John Ward hailed his side's 2-1 home win over Notts County as their best result of the season.
The Magpies led in the eighth minute through Craig Westcarr, who fired home Karl Hawley's pass.
But with 15 minutes remaining, substitute Kayode Odejayi glanced in Tom Williams' free-kick and then nodded in another Williams cross for the winner.
Ward said: "It's our best win of the season, without a question of a doubt.
"Everybody has worked hard to get the win and it was our best performance, because we've had to dig ourselves out of a problem in the first half and we've done that, both on and off the pitch.
"We made our changes and the boys have responded extremely well. I thought we were excellent because we kept our nerve.
"We made some mistakes but for us to keep our nerve and go on and win the game, it made that the best result of the season."
