Ward cools Abbott snub talk
Colchester manager John Ward has played down his apparent snub to Carlisle counterpart Greg Abbott on Friday night.
Ward seemingly refused to shake the hand of Abbott, who he worked alongside while Cumbrians manager, at the final whistle of the 1-1 draw between the clubs at the Community Stadium.
But he told the Gazette: "I must have just missed Greg Abbott at the end.
"It was a great game of football and that's what we should be talking about."
