Vilhjalmsson to complete move
Colchester are set to complete the signing of Icelandic international Matthias Vilhjalmsson on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who has six caps for his country, impressed boss John Ward during a trial spell in which he played for the reserves against Reading.
Vilhjalmsson could complete the move in time to make his debut in Friday night's League One clash against Bournemouth.
