U's recover to see off Cumbrians

Carlisle opened the scoring midway through the first half of Tuesday's League One clash at the Community Stadium when Ian Harte headed Graham Kavanagh's corner under goalkeeper Ben Williams' body at the far post for his 11th of the season.[LNB]The Cumbrians could have doubled their advantage had they not had a penalty appeal turned down when debutant Darryl Duffy was fouled by Williams in the area.[LNB]Danny Livesey wasted a chance for the visitors when his header deflected wide for a corner and the miss proved costly as the Us levelled shortly after the hour mark.[LNB]John-Joe O'Toole latched on to Odejayi's pass on the right and sent in an accurate cross for Clive Platt to head home.[LNB]Anthony Wordsworth and Odejayi both hit the woodwork for Colchester before the latter latched onto Ian Henderson's cross to seal the win in stoppage time with a neat volley.[LNB][LNB]
