U`s keep fingers crossed over duo
Colchester are monitoring defenders Marc Tierney and Pat Baldwin this week after both suffered injuries during Saturday's goalless draw at Southampton.
Full-back Tierney was forced off with a hip injury during the first half while centre-half Baldwin suffered an ankle knock and failed to appear after half-time.
"They both suffered direct blows so hopefully they're not as severe as pulls and strains," said manager John Ward.
"We will do a bit of work with them this week and hopefully we'll get them back."
