Us decide against Morgain pursuit

Colchester have ended their interest in Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan. The League One side enquired about the 27-year-old, who hit 16 goals for the Shots last season, but declined to make an offer. Aldershot boss Kevin Dillon told Get Hampshire: "I had a good chat with Colchester's manager John Ward on the phone and he told me that he was interested in Marvin and that my chairman would be getting a call from his chairman. John wanted me to know the situation. "The chairmen did speak and Colchester asked what our valuation was for Marvin and, when they heard it, they said they would leave things there, wished us well for the season, and would not be making a bid. "Marvin is just too valuable to us. Our system suits him and he has had his best ever pre-season and is looking more and more powerful."
