U's bid to beat freezing weather
The U's game fell foul of the weather but both clubs and their fans were given an early decision, giving Colchester more time to help ensure Tuesday's game with Tranmere can go ahead.[LNB]Bradshaw told the club's official website: "The support we have had on this matter from both the refereeing authorities and the Football League is greatly appreciated and it has helped us keep our supporters updated without being inconvenienced through unnecessary travel."[LNB]He added: "With this game falling foul of the weather, we will be doing everything in our power to safeguard Tuesday's game against Tranmere Rovers."[LNB][LNB]
