Trotman debut delights U's boss
Trotman, who only linked up with the Essex side on Thursday, put in a fine performance as the U's secured a 1-1 draw against the league leaders.
"I thought Neal Trotman was excellent on his debut. In fact, that was just about the best debut I have seen," said Lambert.
"Neal is a centre-half who will head a kitchen sink if it comes into the box.
"Give me a million pounds and I will sign him. But I guess we have just got him for eight or so matches."
