Platt preaches about red regret
The big frontman faces a three-match ban after being sent off for aiming a butt at Leyton Orient defender Ben Chorley towards the end of Tuesday's 2-1 defeat.
"I shouldn't have retaliated. You always have to be professional and I'm not condoning what I did," he told the Colchester Gazette.
"Looking back with a cool head, I'm frustrated with myself and I have to learn from it. But I just wanted to win so much."
