Perkins ban blow

David Perkins is suspended for Colchester`s trip to Leyton Orient after he was sent off in the 3-3 draw with Charlton. Midfielder Perkins was dismissed for handling a Paul Benson header on the goal-line. Right-back Brian Wilson is out for up to eight weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage in training. Nigerian defender Magnus Okuonghae is also sidelined with an ankle injury and will play no part against the Os. Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole and defender Morten Knudsen are out of action until late January with knee injuries, but striker Steven Gillespie returned to the bench after a thigh injury and is pushing for a start. Midfielder Simon Hackney (back) was not deemed fit enough to feature against Charlton but may be among the substitutes at Brisbane Road.
