Latics clash abandoned
Colchester's home game against Oldham on Tuesday has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Local referee Mike Bull inspected the Community Stadium playing surface on Monday morning and decided several areas of it were unplayable with conditions not likely to improve in time.
"We're obviously disappointed that we can't get a game in," said Us boss John Ward.
"There are dangerous areas on and off the pitch which can't be messed with, but we will keep trying and prepare for the next one."
No new date has yet been set for the rearranged fixture.
