The U's have lost an astonishing 11 of 22 games at the Weston Homes Community Stadium this season - a record that is worse than three of the four teams in the relegation places.[LNB]Lambert admitted that their impressive away form - which continued with a 2-0 victory at Hereford on Saturday - is the principle reason the club is in a comfortable mid-table position.[LNB]"The away form has been terrific", Lambert told the Colchester Gazette.[LNB]"If we had won half our home games, we'd probably be right up there but we haven't.[LNB]"That's basically what's cost us but the main objective was to keep this football club in the league, which I was instructed to do".[LNB][LNB]
