Lambert hails ruthless U's side

In the 13th minute Mark Yeates shook off the attentions of Terrell Forbes to set up Ashley Vincent who fired under the body of the diving Chris Weale to register his first goal since a loan move from Cheltenham. Two minutes later Weale was at fault again. This time Simon Hackney sent Yeates away on the right and his shot from the edge of the box again evaded the on-loan Bristol City keeper at his near post. Lambert said: "Ashley Vincent took his goal well but I wasn't surprised. He has done a good job for me since he came from Cheltenham and I think he scored six there. "Mark Yeates had an excellent match and he took his goal well. I think that's 14 he's got which is a good return for someone not noted as a prolific scorer. "They hit the post once but apart from that we were not really troubled too much."
